Overview
The Emissions And Stack Pen-Type Optical Visual Fault Locator is used for optical identification and fault locating in single-mode or multi-mode fiber, which makes it an ideal maintenance tool for optical networks, LAN, FDDI, ATM optical systems, and telecom network system. It has a 650 nm visible laser source which transmits continuous light or 1 Hz modulated light into a fiber, allowing the user to visually detect any fiber fault over distances of up to 4.9 mi (8 km).
